ART FROM NATURE @ HOME!
Bazil Grumble’s newest Creative Arts Experience @ Home! will explore nature and art. In preparation for the session, participants are encouraged to collect leaves, pebbles, seedpods, flowers, grass and small sticks in their backyard or on walks through the neighbourhood with the family. Then via Zoom they will join Artistic Director, Grant Hodges, to create ephemeral sculptures or mandalas. Art from Nature @ Home! encourages participants to notice all the little details of their environment they might normally miss and how it is possible to create unique artworks from nature. DRAMA @ HOME!
Participants will play drama games and activities to exercise their imagination while developing their skills in improvisation, presentation as well as verbal and physical communication. We have adjusted the timing of our sessions to take into account the recent update for Queensland schools & that prep and grade 1 students will be returning to the classroom on 11 May.
