We hope you have had a refreshing break & made wonderful memories with your families over the holidays. The Bazil Grumble team is so excited to soon start teaching our Semester 1 drama classes. We have been very busy writing lesson plans for our source material The Lorax. We cannot wait to support students as they use their imagination to explore the playful & hopeful Dr. Seuss classic and its cautionary rhyming tale of the environment & compassion.

In term 1, students will focus on exploring the themes of the play to develop their speech and drama skills. In a fun and supportive learning environment, students will learn about clear and effective speech and how to use pace, pause, emphasis, intonation and enunciation, as well as posture, breathing and stage presence to be an effective communicator. In term 2 we will use these enhanced skills as we collaboratively polish the performance for presentation to friends and family at the end of the term.

Registrations are now open and available via our website HERE. Thank you to all those families who have already registered to secure their child’s place. We’d like to remind everyone else to please keep in mind that places are limited and it is first in, best dressed! We highly recommend registering as soon as we would be so disappointed if current students wishing to continue were to miss out.
