DRAMA CLASSES
Drama Classes
- Does your child love performing?
- Do you want your child to have a clear and expressive voice for their school presentations?
- Are you looking for an activity for your child that is both fun and educational, while inspiring imaginative thinking and teamwork?
Bazil Grumble drama lessons provide a great range of different drama games and activities which aim to improve our students’ confidence, communication and presentation skills, group interaction skills, improvisation skills, and imagination. The classes are a great deal of fun and allow the students to meet new people and develop new friendships.
In Term 3, children will develop their confidence while learning more about themselves and others as they explore drama through the themes of friendship and resilience on the playground. Students will love the chance for creative interaction and the opportunity to let their imagination run wild! At the end of term 4, they will present a play inspired by Little Lunch for family and friends to come and enjoy!
More About Classes
DRAMA CLASS STRUCTURE
Bazil Grumble runs a semester curriculum for our drama classes. In terms 1 and 3 of the school year, we focus on teaching students new dramatic techniques as well as extending their current knowledge and skills. Then in terms 2 and 4, we focus solely on producing a polished performance for friends and family. We believe this structure allows our students to more deeply develop their skills in many areas of speech, drama and public speaking, as well as express themselves through theatre!
CLASS TYPES
We have three different class types and we approach the content differently in each context:
- Shining Stars Drama Classes: a class for children prep to year two.
- Drama Masterclass: a class for children year three to year six.
- Superstars Drama Classes: a class that is for all primary aged students
Classes incorporate students from various year levels and the teacher ensures that every child is consistently engaged in the activities, and challenged at a level appropriate to their age.
PREP PICK UP
We do offer a prep pick up service. When you enrol your child into drama class, please specify which room they are in and our Bazil Grumble teacher will pick them up from the prep room and escort them to drama.
Pricing & Payment Details
We do offer a no obligation trial for all our new students. We ask all parents/guardians to register online as part of our child protection policy (to ensure we have all the correct details!) and require payment for school-based drama classes in advance. However, we understand a parents apprehension at committing to a term of drama classes with the thought in the back of your mind that it might not be right for your child. So for your peace of mind we have a very simple risk-free refund policy: all you have to do is enrol your child into drama classes and, if after attending the first class they are not enjoying it, send us an email before the next class and we will refund the full fee. Payments are via credit card only through our secure site.
For class pricing, please check on the event page for the class you wish to attend.
